H.E. SHEIKH DR. MESHAAL JABER AL-AHMAD AL-SABAH

[Chairman, Salman Investment Loan Company]

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has more than 18 years of experience in Bahrain’s Economic Sector and serves on several boards pertaining to economic-based organizations.
In addition to his role on the board of the Bahrain Investment Authority, he is the Director-General of the Bahrain Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA).
He is also a Board Member at The Bahrain Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and the head of multiple committees including the Permanent Committee for Streamlining Business Environment & Enhancing Competitiveness in Bahrain (PCK) established by the Council of Ministers, the trade & investment sub-group of the Bahrain-UK Joint Steering Group, and the economic & commercial coordination working group in the Bahrain-US Strategic Dialogue.
Prior to his tenure at KDIPA, Dr. Al-Sabah was the Chief of the Bahrain Foreign Investment Bureau (KFIB) at the Bahrain Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MOCI). In addition to various posts at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers (CoM). He previously sat on multiple boards including the National Offset Company (NOC), as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the Central Bank of Bahrain, as a member of the Board of Directors. He also headed multiple specialized committees, including the Committee for Amending Capital Markets Law, and the Economic Inducement Committee established by the Council of Ministers.
H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah holds a Ph.D. from the University of Portsmouth, a master’s degree from Maastricht Business School (KMBS), and a BSc from Bahrain University (KU).
He was appointed to the Board of Directors at Bahrain Investment Authority (KIA) on August 5, 2021, for a four-year term

MR.ABDUL JABBAR AL SAYEGH

A visionary and prominent industry leader, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Al-Sayegh, Chairman Salman Investment Loan Company is also one of the Founders of Noor Capital and has a massive contribution in making us one of the top-most investment companies locally and internationally. A dedicated and outstanding businessman, he also plays a crucial role as a Chairman and CEO at Al-Sayegh Brothers Group of Companies, which has more than 4,500 employees in the UAE.
He specializes in Engineering & Construction, Electronics, Civil Contracting, Solar Systems, and Managing the Language Centres of Berlitz UAE and Mayoor and Al Muneera Private Schools. With years of expertise and sheer brilliance, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Al-Sayegh played a vital role in his previous positions at multiple prestigious institutions, right from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC) to the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). An influential businessman, a prominent figure in the UAE, and a passionate traveller, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Al-Sayegh, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, Colorado, brings his years of experience and knowledge for the overall development of Noor Capital.

MR.HAMAD MOHAMMED AL KHALIDI

[Board Member]

Mr. Al Khalidi holds more than a decade of professional work experience. Currently, he is serving as the Director Investments at Al Yamama Group of Companies, where he oversees wide spectrum of investments including, public equity, private equity, fixed income, real estate investments and commodity markets. Prior to this, he was associated with PwC – Middle East as a Consultant for Financial Transactions and Advisory Services. He served in that capacity for more than two years. Mr. Alkhalidi has also served as a board member of various eminent organizations.
Besides this, on educational side Mr. Al Khalidi holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Prince Mohammed Bin Fahad University.

MR.JAMAL H. AL-BARRAK

[Board Member]

Has over 15 years of banking and investment experience and he presents the Board with crucial contacts and business links in Bahrain. Previously, Mr. Al-Barrak has worked with Gulf Bank in various positions including Senior Investment Manager for the Chief Executive Officer, Assistant General Manager for Investments and for Corporate Finance. He also spearheaded the development and management of Electronic Channels in the bank. Currently, he works as the General Manager, Investment Department at the Bahrain International Bank. Mr. Al-Barrak has also served in numerous Boards and investment committees. He holds an MBA and Bachelor of Arts from Bentley University in Massachusetts. He has also attended management and corporate finance programs at INSEAD and Harvard University Business School.

MR.MAKAREM SOBHI BATTERJEE

Mr.Makarem Sobhi Batterjee is a Saudi business leader, investor and entrepreneur. He is the president of Saudi German Hospitals (SGH) Group, one of the largest private hospital networks in the MENA region and the vice president of Middle East Healthcare Company Limited (MEAHCO).
He holds an MBA from London Business School.
He currently serves as the president of Saudi German Hospitals Group. He is also the president of the family-owned Bait Al Batterjee Holding Company, a diversified organization with investment in 25 subsidiaries and more than 12500 employees, and the founder and CEO of the New City Company.
He is the founder and chief executive officer of Shababco Enterprises, which has established the largest award-winning gym, Gold's Gym, in Saudi Arabia. He is also the founder of Humania Capital (2005 – Present), a healthcare investment company, owner of JanPro, a commercial cleaning brand, and the founding president of the Saudi Chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization.
He was chosen as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2008 In the same year, he was selected as the Middle East Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He received the Randi Carrol Award for the establishment of the Saudi chapter of global Entrepreneurs' Organization and was named a Young Arab Leader by the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Batterjee has appeared as an investor on the Arab version of the US-based reality TV show Shark Tank program since its launch in 2017.

MR. HAMAD SALEM MOHAMMED SAEED AL AMERI

Engineer Hamad Salem Al Ameri has extensive experience in the construction and real estate sectors, international finance and investments, government, public and non-profit institutions, in addition to the oil, energy and utilities sectors. Engineer Hamad Salem Al Ameri holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the American University in Dubai, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Canadian University.
Engineer Hamad Salem Al Ameri is the Managing Director of Trojan Group and through this position he seeks to lead the strategic growth plans of Trojan Group and its subsidiaries which resulted in the transition of the group’s business from being a small company to a large investment group. Some of the key positions held by Engineer Hamad Salem Al Ameri include Vice Chairman of National Marine Dredging Company, Member of the Board of Directors of Aldar properties, Member of the Board of Directors of both Arabtec Holding Company PJSC, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Jazeera Technical Solutions and Investments LLC.

MR. MOHAMED HAMAD AL MEHAIRI

Mr. Mohamed Hamad Ghanem Hamed Al Mehairi serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at UniCredit S.p.A. since October 15, 2015. Currently, he held posts at Aabar Investments PJS (Aabar) as CEO & Board Member, Arabtec Holding PJSC (Arabtec) as Board Member, Etihad Airways as Board Member, Al Hilal Bank as Board Member, Qatar Abu Dhabi Investment Company (QADIC) as Board Member, Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd. (PARCO) as Vice Chairman of the Board, NOVA Chemicals Corporation (NOVA) as Member of Board of Directors, Borealis AG (BOREALIS) as Board Member of Supervisory Board, COSMO Oil (COSMO) as Board Member. Since August 2015, he is Chief Executive Officers at Aabar Investments PJS (Aabar), Abu Dhabi. From 2006 to 2015 he was Director, Investment Department, International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), Abu Dhabi. From 1996 to 2006 he was Market Analyst & Sales coordinator, Marketing & Refining Directorate, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Science & Business Administration, Finance.
